Writing on my mom's computer doesn't let me write a proper post, as her old version of Internet Explorer doesn't play well with the Blogger website. I'll write a proper post tomorrow, but in the meantime shall just say that during a pleasant day on peaceful little ol' Beaver Lake (which we've written many blog posts about as we paddle there a lot) it was very nearly time to push the emergency button on my SPOT. Pushed the OK button instead to celebrate when I got to shore, with at the end of a tow rope a large drunk fella tangled in weeds.
Two people rescued from the lake, all well.
